62 Stations Now Transmit Via Digital Radio in France

PARIS—A month after the official launch of digital radio in France, 62 radio stations are being heard by way of multiplex transmitters in Paris, Marseille and Nice, according to French broadcast regulator CSA. More are expected to start in the coming weeks.

The vast majority are using the DAB+ standard.

CSA plans to publish a report in the fall that will discuss the future direction of digital radio in France, according to Telecompaper.
