DAB Now Available in the Five Provinces of Tuscany

The provinces of Florence, Pistoia, Prato, Arezzo and Siena move into digital radio June 15, 2017

FLORENCE, Italy — DAB radio coverage continues to expand across Italy. (We’ve previously covered this expansion here and here.)

There is now word that two consortiums have started broadcasting digital radio in the Tuscany region of Italy (the provinces of Florence, Pistoia, Prato, Arezzo and Siena), according to aeranticorallo.it.

Tuscany DAB is owned by the following local radio stations: Lady Radio, Radio Bruno, Radio Effe, Radio Etruria, Radio Lady, Radio Four, Radio Six Six, Radio Sieve, Radio Star News, Radio Studio Delta, Radio Voice of Hope, RDF 102E7.

Digital Radio Toscana is owned by the following local radio stations: Antenna Radio Esse, Controradio, Novaradio, Radio 3 Network, Radio Alleluia, Radio Dissemination Pistoia, Radio Florence, Radio Dating Val di Chiana, Pink Radio, Radio Siena, Siena Radio 2, Radio Toscana.

Tuscany DAB is heard on channel 11B and Digital Radio Toscana is heard on block 11C (referring to band iii).
