Inovonics to Debut New HD Radio Receiver at NAB Show

Latest addition of the Aaron line of re-broadcast translator receivers March 20, 2017

FELTON, Calif.—Inovonics has offered a preview of one of its products that it will display at the 2017 NAB Show, the Aaron 655 FM/HD re-broadcast translator receiver.

Part of the company’s Aaron line, the Aaron 655 features an FM/HD radio SDR-based receiver that invariably returns to the programed frequency and reception mode following a power interruption. The receiver accepts FM and HD1-8 program sources for re-broadcast, as well as analog, AES-digital and streaming program inputs with fallback-priority selection. Outputs are FM-stereo-multiplex, analog and AES digital program line outputs and output streaming.

Additional features include an RDS encoder that can either pass or regenerate incoming RDS; the ability to reformat HD radio “PAD” data for RDS transmission; and sensitivity, selectivity and RF shielding.

Inovonics will be located at booth N8029 during the 2017 NAB Show.
