NEW BERN, N.C.—Wheatstone is getting its line of products ready for a showcase at the upcoming 2016 Radio Show, including many upgrades to its popular models.

Among the gear that will be shown is the LX-24 audio console, shown at right, an advanced control surface for the WheatNet-IP AoIP Intelligent Network. It features a modular design and ergonomic layout, with WheatNet-IP routing and processing options. Wheatstone is also planning on displaying its Air-4 analog radio mixing console with USB and Air-1USB, its compact analog radio mixing console.

On the audio processing side, Wheatstone has the AirAura X1. The new digital spectral audio processor includes much of the functionality of the AirAura X3, as well as new developments from the FM-55. A key new feature for the X1 is its touchscreen on its front panel. The AirAura X3 and FM-55 will also be present at Wheatstone’s booth.

Updates to Wheatstone’s VoxPro system will also be demonstrated. New software features include multi-track recording, recording new audio while editing existing audio, unicode support for multiple languages, color markers, a gap buster for automatically removing silence, and a detachable Hot Keys window.

Wheatstone will have all of this gear at booth 106 during the 2016 Radio Show, which takes place in Nashville, Tenn., from Sept. 21-23.
