Lyons has 20 years of radio broadcasting experience, having held positions as a programming consultant, operations manager, program director, music director, research director, chief engineer and announcer. His career has taken him to stations in Phoenix; Asheville, NC; New Bern, NC; Hendersonville, NC; Montgomery, AL; Meridian, MS; Laurel-Hattiesburg, MS; Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Biloxi, MS; and Pensacola, FL.
He previously worked for 12 years as a project manager for Control Solutions, an industrial controls and building management contractor. He holds an Associate degree in electronics engineering technology and Bachelor of Arts in business administration. He is also the owner of audio and video production company Wavtek Productions.
