Washington, DC - Sep 17, 2009 - The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) announced that Bruce Reese, president and CEO of Bonneville International, has been elected to serve as the NABEF board chairman.

Under Reese's leadership, Bonneville has served as the founding partner for NAB Education Foundation's Celebration of Service to America Awards since their inception in 1999. A former chairman of the NAB Joint Board of Directors, Reese has held various leadership posts in national media organizations including the boards of directors for the Associated Press and the Radio Advertising Bureau. An active member of his community, Reese is also on the Board of Trustees to Intermountain Healthcare and previously served on the board of directors for United Way of Salt Lake, where he was honored with the 2008 Compassionate Leader of the Year Award.

Reese practiced law with firms in Washington, DC, and Denver before joining Bonneville International in 1984. He was named executive vice president in 1991 and was appointed to his current position as president and CEO of Bonneville in 1996. As president and CEO of Bonneville International, Reese oversees and operates 28 radio stations in eight markets, including Salt Lake City and Washington, DC.
