Washington, DC - Feb 10, 2010 - The NAB says that hotel rates at many official NAB Show hotels in Las Vegas are down 20 percent from 2009 and nearly 40 percent below 2008 rates during peak show dates between April 10 - 15, according to Expovision, the NAB's housing-management partner.

A sluggish economy, reduced tourism and higher inventory have enabled Las Vegas hotels to reduce rates. The NAB notes that the lowest rates are guaranteed when a reservation is made via the NAB Show website for NAB Show dates at participating hotels. If a hotel lowers its rates or lower rates are found, reservations will automatically be adjusted and new confirmations generated.
