Comlabs Acquires ViaRadio
Melbourne, FL - Apr 7, 2011 - Communications Laboratories (Comlabs) has acquired ViaRadio Corporation. With this acquisition, Comlabs will now offer FM-based, RDS alert notification products and services as part of its nationwide Emergency Management Network (EMnet).
Comlabs' EMnet is a CAP-based satellite communication and warning network. ViaRadio's Envoy Emergency Warning System uses FM-based, RDS technology to send near instantaneous alerts to the company's line of Hearo Local Alert Receivers and other RDS-capable devices. Envoy can also target specific groups and individuals using desktop alert clients, push notifications, cell phone alerts, and email.
Comlabs will assume management and employees of ViaRadio, and it will continue to support the company's existing customer base.
