For Sale: Harris Facility in Cincinnati
Cincinnati - Oct 15, 2007 - The building currently occupied by Harris in a northern suburb of Cincinnati is for sale. The 160,000-square-foot facility at 4393 Digital Way in Mason, OH, has an asking price of $16 million. The listing through Cincinnati Capital Properties notes that portions of the building are available for sale or lease.
Harris opened the facility in 1998 when Bruce Allan was president of the broadcast division. In 1999, Harris moved the broadcast equipment sales operation from Richmond, IN, to the Cincinnati facility. Harris still maintains some manufacturing facilities in Quincy, IL.
Harris recently sold its third-party equipment sales business to SCMS and opened various partner channels for its equipment and system sales.
