Harris Expands Presence in South America
Cincinnati - Aug 21, 2007 - Harris is expanding its presence in Brazil to service its expanding customer base in the growing South American broadcast product, systems and services market. In September, Harris plans to move from its smaller Alphaville office to a new, larger office at 1511 Berrini Avenue in the Brooklin neighborhood of Sao Paolo. The expanded office will serve as regional headquarters for Harris' Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) operations.
The new office will house a growing sales operation with pre- and post-sales engineering resources, along with administrative staff for accepting orders and structuring logistics. A laboratory and repair center with test equipment and spare parts will allow Harris to service its installed base. The facility will also include conference and training rooms for Harris staff and customers.
