Jump2Go Adds to RBDS Offerings
Seattle, WA - Apr 9, 2010 - Jump2Go has added new functions to its RBDS-based messaging services.
Stations using RTmessenger system can direct custom text messages related to any or all on-air events (songs or commercials) to a Twitter feed, including a call to action link. During music, listeners can purchase the song featured in their Tweet, and during interactive commercials, listeners receive advertisement text messages and can click on a link to be directly connected to the stations advertising clients.
In cooperation with viaRadio, Jump2Go's technology will support broadcasting EAS Alerts via RDS to popular consumer electronics devices such as the fifth generation iPod Nano.
And finally, Jump2Go has licensed technology from iBiquity Digital to add support for HD Radio song tagging to the Jump2Go RadioTag Plus Tagging system.
