Media Monitors Ranks Christmas Music on Radio
White Plains, NY - Dec 13, 2007 - Media Monitors, the broadcast monitoring and verification service, turned its attention to the stations that switch their formats to Christmas music during December to compile the company's latest report. Media Monitors states that the all-Christmas move became popular about 10 years ago and is now a tradition at more than one hundred stations nationwide.
Media Monitors focused on 105 major market stations playing nothing but Christmas music and The 12 Songs of Christmas, the 12 most played Christmas songs on those stations during the first week of December 2007. All but one song on the list are more than 20 years old.
