Lakewood, NJ - Aug 21, 2007 - Neutrik recently provided an assortment of its connectors to the audio department of the New England Institute of Art (NEIA). The connectors will be used to create a cables and connectors reference board for the school's electronics and maintenance lab, which is used by more than 500 students in the associate and bachelor programs.

The donation included Neutrik's X and XX series connectors, XLR chassis connectors, an assortment of Speakon lockable loudspeaker connectors and cable connectors, Ethercon cable connector carriers, USB and Firewire connectors, phono sockets and various phone plugs and jacks.

Students in the audio production concentration at NEIA, focus their studies in audio recording, editing, and mixing audio or content where the audio is the primary medium. The audio production concentration allows students to take advanced production courses in music recording, live sound, maintenance and radio. Students in this concentration can choose to focus on the business and management aspects of the audio industry.
