Sound Ideas Acquires Digiffects Sound Effects Library
Toronto - Jul 1, 2010 - Sound Ideas has purchased the respected Digiffects Sound Effects Library from its Swedish creator and original publisher, Ljudproduktion. The first CDs in the all-digital collection were released in 1985, and the library now offers more than 23,000 sound effects on more than 180 Compact Discs.
The Digiffects Sound Effects Library offers more than 15 separate sub-collections of audio in categories that include city, domestic, transport, office, sports and vintage FX. The library is currently available in CD Audio format, and will soon be distributed on the Sound Ideas-owned StockMusic.com download site as 16-bit/44.1kHz BWF and MP3 320 files. All tracks will be embedded with metadata that can be quickly organized and searched with the company's own free MetaDigger download, or with any asset management software.
