Wheatstone, Burli Partner on Integration
New Bern, NC, and Vancouver, BC - Apr 6, 2011 - Wheatstone Corporation, manufacturer of the Wheatnet-IP Intelligent Network, has partnered with newsroom software vendor Burli Software.
Burli's newsroom software will now be able to interface directly with Wheatstone's WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network. Burli's newsroom software will pick up andrecord audio directly from the Wheatnet-IP network, and will also have the capability of playing audio out onto the network. Wheatnet-IP will also pass logic signals to Burli's system and receive logic signals from it to handle real-time events and control other hardware on the network.
When Canadian broadcast group Corus rebuilt its Winnipeg broadcast center, Burli and Wheatnet-IP were both part of the plan. Integrating the workflow between these two systems drove the partnership and the technological integration behind it.
