2010 Radio Mercury Awards Presenters Announced

New York - Sep 14, 2010 - Some top radio on-air talent will be on hand to honor radio's most creative and inspiring spots and campaigns from the past year. Scheduled to present awards at the 2010 Radio Mercury Awards ceremony on Sept. 27, 2010, are:

  • Nick Cannon - NOW 92.3, Rolling with Nick Cannon Morning Show, along with DJ Chunky
  • Elvis Duran and the Morning Show - syndicated morning show
  • Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram - 101.9 RXP, The Morning Rock Show
  • Jacque Reid - 98.7 KISS FM
  • Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and K-Foxx - HOT97, Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show

    Jeff Haley, president and CEO of the Radio Advertising Bureau and chair of the Radio Creative Fund says, "These awards showcase the power of great Radio creative and the power of Radio's powerhouse talent and brands."

    The 2010 Radio Mercury Awards will kick off Advertising Week in New York City. Elvis Duran will serve as emcee of the show.

    Finalists were announced Sept. 9.

    The Radio Mercury Awards were established in 1992 to encourage and reward the development of effective and creative radio commercials. The annual Radio Mercury Awards competition draws entries from advertising agencies, production houses, radio stations, and educational institutions across the country. Approximately 17,000 commercials have competed for more than $2.9 million in prizes. The Radio Creative Fund (RCF), a non-profit corporation funded by the Radio industry, governs the Radio Mercury Awards.
