Davis and Locke Elected SBE Fellows
Indianapolis - April 12, 2010 - The Board of Directors of the Society of Broadcast Engineers has elected Sterling E. Davis and Robert W. Locke, CPBE CBNT, as SBE Fellows. Davis and Locke were elected during the Board of Directors meeting held during the 2010 NAB Show on April 11.
Davis is vice president of engineering for Cox Media Group in Atlanta, and a member of SBE Chapter 5 in Atlanta.
Locke is the chief engineer for KPTS in Maize, KS, and a member of SBE Chapter 3 in Kansas.
The SBE Fellow Award recognizes members who have rendered conspicuous service, or who have made valuable contributions to the advancement of broadcast engineering or its allied professions, the dissemination of knowledge thereof or the promotion of its application in practice.
Both recipients will be recognized for their elevation to Fellow during the SBE National Meeting in Madison, WI, on Oct. 27, 2010.
