Deadline Nears for 2007 AWRT/SBE Female Engineer of the Year Award
McLean, VA - Jan 31, 2007 - American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) and the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) for the second year are jointly sponsoring the Female Engineer of the Year Award. The individual must be someone who has advanced the goals and objectives of the SBE or AWRT, while simultaneously promoting the field as a career path for women in the electronic media.
Nominations must be submitted to AWRT headquarters via e-mail to jhowitt@awrt.org or fax 703-506-3266 by Feb. 2, 2007. The nomination form is available at this link.
The award will be presented at the 2007 AWRT Leadership Summit, March 8 to March 10, 2007, in Washington, DC.
