Harris Holds First Annual Channel Partner Training Program
Cincinnati - May 6, 2008 - Harris recently completed its first annual channel partner training in Mason, OH. The three-day event provided training on Harris analog AM/FM and HD Radio transmission, studio systems and Intraplex STL products for the North American Channel Partners team for the company's radio broadcast market.
The North American Channel Partners team, established in late 2006, is comprised of equipment dealers, distributors and systems integrators. Channel partners support Harris efforts to offer new value-added services, including planning and design assistance, disaster recovery, regionalized field resources, quicker response times and specialized integration teams.
Representatives from 12 channel partners attended the event for education on all established Harris product lines sold in the U.S., and were introduced to new studio design services. Representatives from Ibiquity Digital and Harris Finance also made presentations to the team.
