NATE Puts Focus on Tower Safety
Orlando - Feb 8, 2008 - The National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) launches its 2008 annual convention and exhibition on Feb. 11 and will use the event to launch a new campaign to change the tower industry. The initiative magnifies the organization's "safety above all else" message and asks everyone in the tower industry, from CEOs of broadcast and cellular companies to members of NATE that are climbing towers in the field, to commit to safety.
Safety has always been the focal point of NATE's mission, and the group hopes this program will work to re-emphasize the safety message at all levels of the industry, from top to bottom.
At NATE 2008, attending NATE members will be asked to re-pledge their commitment to safety by signing their name to an 8' commitment wall, which confirms they are dedicated to making the tower industry as safe as possible. NATE board members will also use NATE 2008 as the arena to outline the association's future goals and plans.
