Public Radio Engineers Seek 2007 Award Nominations
Washington – Jan 26, 2007 - The Association of Public Radio Engineers (APRE), formed in May 2006 to work with the specific needs of engineers working for public radio stations, seeks nominations for its first Engineering Achievement Award. The award will be presented at the Public Radio Engineering Conference held prior to NAB2007 in April.
The honor will be awarded to a single individual for outstanding contributions to the art or science of radio engineering that have had a significant effect on or improvement in the state of the public radio industry.
Nomination forms are available from Roger Karwoski, the APRE awards chairman. E-mail requests to karwoskir@missouri.edu. Nomination forms will also soon be available at www.nprlabs.org.
