SBE to Webcast 2009 Membership Meeting

Indianapolis - Oct 2, 2009 - The Society of Broadcast Engineers will hold it annual national meeting on Oct. 6-7 in conjunction with the Chapter 22 and its Broadcast and Technology Expo at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Events Center in Verona, NY. The membership meeting will be held Oct. 7 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET. For the first time, the membership meeting will be streamed live.

SBE President, Barry Thomas, CPBE CBNT, will begin the membership meeting, which will provide an overview of Society activities. The meeting will feature the swearing in of the new officers and directors of the Society. SBE Vice President Vinny Lopez, CEV CBNT, will be sworn in as the new president of the organization.

A link to the stream will be posted at the SBE website by Oct. 7.
