Updated SBE Leadership Development Course Takes to the Road
Indianapolis, IN - Feb 10, 2010 - The Society of Broadcast Engineers Leadership Development Course has been redesigned and is now offered as a three-day course covering basic and advanced concepts of outstanding leadership. The next course will be held Aug. 3-5, 2010, in Atlanta.
The SBE offers the course in cooperation with instructor Rodney C. Vandeveer, who has more than 30 years of industrial and business experience, and has been teaching courses on leadership for more than 15 years as an associate professor at Purdue University.
Topics in this year's course include understanding the dynamics of leadership, a self assessment study, which identifies an individual's leadership behavior, effective motivation methods, building winning teams, how leadership is an attitude, and more.
The course is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. The deadline to register is July 5, 2010. The cost of registration is $580 per person, which includes three days of instruction, all course materials, certificate of completion and classroom refreshments. All transportation, housing and meals are the responsibility of the participant. Accommodations are available at the host hotel.
