SBE Updates Jobs Online

Indianapolis - Oct 7, 2009 - The Society of Broadcast Engineers has provided a list of available jobs to its members for many years. Until recently, this member benefit has been a simple list of available jobs.

An update to the SBE Jobs Online, posted on Oct. 1, 2009, allows site users to enter various job search parameters, including type of facility, pay range and location. Filtered searches can be set to send an e-mail message to members when a new job is posted that matches the member's search criteria.

The enhancement was developed through the efforts of SBE Board Member Mark Simpson at the direction of now SBE Immediate Past President Barry Thomas.

Only current SBE members can access SBE Jobs Online. Anyone can submit a job opening to the SBE at no cost.
