Dalet Names Murphy Thomas as GM, West Coast
New York, NY - Feb 20, 2009 - Dalet Digital Media Systems has appointed Kim Murphy Thomas as general manager, Dalet Digital Media Systems, West Coast. Thomas has previously held key positions at Apple, Quantel and Thomson Grass Valley. She will be responsible for the development of the Dalet business throughout the Western U.S. as well as strategic accounts management.
Prior to joining Dalet, Thomas held key roles at several software and technology companies specializing in broadcast and post production. Most recently she managed national key accounts in Media and Entertainment at Apple. Previously, she was Western regional sales manager for Exavio; vice president of sales, Western region U.S. for Quantel; and Western regional director for Thomson Multimedia/Philips Broadcast. She has also worked in sales and customer service roles at Dynatech Video Group and Shoreline Video Systems.
