David Systems appoints Benveniste as CEO
Munich - May 28, 2009 - Vincent Benveniste has been appointed as new David Systems CEO. He replaces Stephan K. Schindler, who will concentrate on his role as CEO at Silex Media. Schindler will take on a board position at David Systems. Benveniste most recently worked as VP sales for the Silex Media Group.
Benveniste's move concludes an initiative to position both companies separately. Benveniste's appointment is also the final step of a process led by Schindler to transform the company into a partner-friendly product company. Schindler will continue to keep key responsibilities in some of the company's strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Silex, Benveniste spent six years as regional manager for Sendmail. Before that, he worked at Lucent from 1993 to 2000 where he held numerous marketing and sales development positions. Before that, he worked for five years at Apple Computer Europe to develop network services.
