Dial Global/Triton Radio Networks Names Trautmann EVP Technology

Conrad Trautmann

New York - Jul 23, 2009 - Dial Global/Triton Radio Networks has hired Conrad Trautmann to the newly created position of executive vice president of technology. Trautmann will oversee all aspects of Dial Global's technical infrastructure, including studio operations, engineering, distribution, telecommunications and information management systems. Based in New York, Trautmann will report to Ken Williams and David Landau, co-presidents/CEOs of Dial Global and Spencer Brown, president/CEO of Triton Radio Networks.

Trautmann was most recently senior vice president of engineering and IT at Westwood One where he oversaw all radio and television technology operations at the company, including the development and support of the software and hardware infrastructure, as well as the design, build-out, relocation and subsequent operation of its broadcast centers for the news network and Metro Traffic. In addition to his management of technology at Westwood One, Trautmann has held numerous chief engineering and IT positions with Clear Channel, Cox Radio and New City. Trautmann is certified by the Society of Broadcast Engineers as a Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer. He has served the SBE nationally as a member of the board of directors and as locally as the chairman of New York Chapter 15.
