Bala Cynwyd, PA - Dec 17, 2007 - Entercom Communications has named Ken Beck to be the vice president of news/talk programming and technical operations, and John Graefe has been promoted to be Entercom's vice president of information technology.
Beck joined Entercom in 2000 as the director of news/talk programming. Beck's broadcast experience includes all aspects of news/talk management and programming at a number of stations, including WWJ-AM and WXYT-AM in Detroit, KFWB-AM in Los Angeles and KGO-AM in San Francisco. In his new position, he will continue to oversee news/talk programming throughout Entercom's 23 markets, as well as all engineering and IT resources throughout the company.
Graefe began his Entercom career in 2001 as director of corporate information technology, coordinating strategic direction of the company's information technology resources. Prior to joining Entercom, he worked with energy provider Exelon in a variety of technology roles, most recently as manager of IT technical services.
