Gerberding Joins SSI as Executive Vice President
Dec 13, 2010 - Ridgefield, CT - Syndicated Solutions Inc. (SSI) has hired Joan E. Gerberding to be the company's executive vice president. In her new capacity, Gerberding is responsible for the daily management of national ad sales, affiliate sales and related syndication activities associated with SSI's roster of programming. Additionally, she'll work closely with SSI President Bob Carey to develop additional branded programming, staff, consulting services and specialty NTR opportunities.
Her career in broadcast and digital media spans more than three decades and has earned her many accolades. Gerberding served as EVP/advertising sales for Mediaguide, president of Media Associates, president of Nassau Media Partners and Jersey Radio Network (both divisions of Nassau Broadcasting Partners), and EVP/COO of Nassau Broadcasting Partners. Additionally, she's volunteered her time and expertise as a board member of American Women in Radio and Television (now Alliance for Women in Media), serving as its national president for two years; as a board member of the Radio Advertising Bureau, one of the founders of and spokesperson for the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) group, as a committee member at the Paley Media Center, and as a co-founder/advisory board member of The Women's Media Center in NYC.
