Glider Appointed Director of Radio Network Engineering and Technical Ops
New York - Oct 3, 2006 - Westwood One has promoted Mitch Glider to the position of director, radio network engineering and technical operations. Glider has extensive experience in studio construction and design, audio engineering, and remote technical operations.
A veteran network engineer with a specialty in project management and technical maintenance, Glider was the lead project manager for Westwood's recent studio reconstruction in Culver City, CA. Glider distinguished himself as the lead project manager for the build out and technical management of Westwood's remote studio facilities at the International Broadcast Centers for the Torino, Athens and Salt Lake City Olympic Games.
Prior to working with Westwood One, Glider owned and managed his own recording studio and production facility.
