Heimrath Joins Spark Networks as EVP
Vancouver - Jan 12, 2010 - Canadian radio industry executive Jean-Marie Heimrath has been named executive VP for Toronto-based Spark Networks, a newly formed content development and syndication division of radio services company Spark Net Communications. Heimrath will direct business development for programming and marketing across multiple platforms for radio stations. Spark Networks officially opens its doors March 1.
During a 20-year career at Standard Broadcasting's Sound Source Networks through 2008, Heimrath ascended from director/marketing and sales to VP/GM/executive producer and president/GM, as well as three concurrent years as president of Standard Interactive. His career includes senior roles in marketing entertainment and information networks at Telemedia Broadcast Systems, and he also was a key player in developing the Now You Know book series. Most recently, Heimrath has served as an international media services consultant based in Toronto.
Spark Networks is a division of Spark Net Communications, which owns the JACK-FM and Playing What We Want: brands.
