Katz Media Promotes Brewer to CIO
New York - Feb 23, 2010 - Katz Media Group has promoted Joe Brewer to senior vice president, chief information officer, spearheading the company's efforts to develop new technology solutions, boost revenue and expand existing support services for both Katz and the industry. Brewer previously served as senior vice president, information technology services.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic IT solutions for Katz employees, client stations and agency customers, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT Services department.
Brewer also served as vice president, director of customer support. Prior to joining Katz in 1996, he was manager of technology support for Grumman Data Systems. Brewer has completed the management and leadership program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also holds a certification from Harvard Law School's program on negotiation.
