Symetrix Promotes and Hires Two Managers
Mountlake Terrace, WA - Aug 20, 2008 - Symetrix has promoted Trent Wagner to senior product manager and hired Derrick Davis to fill Wagner's former role as marketing communications manager.
Wagner joined Symetrix late in 2001 and has been working with product development in some capacity ever since. He formerly spent time in development with Euphonix on its R-1 digital recorder, as well as with Mackie Designs working on the D8B, HDR, SDR and various digital processing software plug-ins.
Initially brought on board for the launch of Symetrix's DSP platform called Symnet, Wagner initially handled support, testing and technical documentation for the company. He was soon charged with a complete redesign of the websites for Symetrix's four brands. In 2006, Wagner was officially titled marketing communications manager.
Derrick Davis has joined Symetrix to fill Wagner's former role. Davis joins following 20 years in the music industry in marketing, product development and business management for such companies as Euphonix, Billboard and Behringer.
