Wide Orbit Hires McCarthy as CFO
San Francisco - Oct 1, 2009 - Wide Orbit has hired Margaret McCarthy as the company's chief financial officer. As part of the Wide Orbit executive leadership team, McCarthy will be responsible for driving all financial and administrative functions.
McCarthy has more than 20 years of experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions with high tech companies. Most recently, she was CFO at Red Condor, a developer of anti-spam and anti-virus products and services. Prior to Red Condor, she served as COO/CFO at Atom Entertainment, which was acquired by Viacom in 2006. She has also held financial leadership positions at Macromedia, Cadence Design Systems, Hewlett-Packard and Deloitte & Touche.
