Munich, Germany - April 13, 2010 - David Systems a provider of global broadcast solutions is exhibiting its latest development at the Microsoft booth during the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The new solution enables editorial collaboration and digital asset management within Microsoft Office System 2010 by integrating the DigaSystem DAM and Database Manager (DBM) systems into Sharepoint 2010 using SharePoint Business Connectivity Services.

DigaSystem allows journalists to share story ideas, request, find and allocate resources as well as search for content, people and associated content (media assets). With David Systems' integration, journalists can also ingest, view, and edit video content including voice-over and plan output within a single application environment. To make communications among editorial staff more efficient in real time, the solution also provides for integration with Microsoft Unified Communications, combining e-mail, instant messaging, voice over IP and video conferencing in a consistent set of communication tools.
