Eventide to Release H8000FW V5.5 Upgrade
Las Vegas - Apr 11, 2010 - Extending the compatibility of its multi-channel Ultra-Harmonizer processor, Eventide announced V5.5 software upgrade for the H8000FW. Available for public beta, V5.5 is a free download for registered users at www.eventide.com. Expected to be released to production in May 2010, V5.5 adds Windows 7 and Snow Leopard compatibility, some system enhancements, and adds all of the TimeFactor and ModFactor effects and presets to the 1,800 programs resident in the H8000FW.
The H8000FW includes 5.1 reverb and effects up to 96kHz, and it can process up to eight channels of 24-bit 96kHz with one cable via FireWire. The H8000FW features AES/EBU, ADAT, and S/PDIF digital I/O as well four channels of analog I/O.
