Toronto - Apr 22, 2009 - Yangaroo has launched a new version of its digital media distribution system, DMDS 5.0. A new feature of the system is support for the delivery of broadcast-quality video. DMDS 5.0 was designed in a modular, data-driven fashion utilizing a services oriented architecture (SOA) approach.

The DMDS 5.0 platform was utilized to power the recently completed Canadian Juno Awards as the first step in this rollout, and has been in beta testing with a number of major record label customers in both the US and Canada for a number of weeks. It is also in beta test with major advertising customers for the delivery of audio and video content.

A list of all the features added are noted at www.dmds.com/launch .
