12th Annual Webby Awards Nominees for Radio Announced
New York, NY - Apr 8, 2008 - The 12th Annual Webby Awards announced the nominees for Best Radio Site of the Year. The Webby Awards honor excellence on the Internet, including websites, online film and video, interactive advertising and mobile content. A full list of nominees can be found at www.webbyawards.com.
The five nominees in the category are:
Last year's winner for Best Radio Site was BBC Radio 1 (www.bbc.co.uk/radio1). Winners are chosen by judges and online voters. Votes can be placed at this link. Every 10,000th voter will win one of Nokia's Nseries mobile devices.
The Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-person judging academy.
Winners will be announced on May 6, 2008, and honored at ceremonies in New York City on June 10.
