The 39th annual conference will be held Nov. 14-15, 2014 at the Crown Plaza Hotel Airport in Minneapolis, presented in partnership with the Minnesota Broadcasters Association. MBA members are eligible for discounted tuition and should contact the MBA office directly for details at (612) 926-8123.
The day-and-a-half conference will feature keynotes from National Association of Broadcasters President/CEO Gordon Smith and Emmis Communication''s President/CEO Jeff Smulyan on the NextRadio mobile platform. A gala reception concludes the first day.
Three learning tracks are planned. The Programming and Talent Track will feature interactive sessions emphasizing advanced talent development. The Management Track will focus on adapting to emerging platforms, improving management skills and how to enhance employee recruitment and retention. The Sales Track will cover everything from the basics to developing new digital revenue streams.
