New York, NY - Jan 23, 2012 - Kevin Dorsey has been named president of traffic, navigation and mobility for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. Based in New York City, Dorsey will report to Charlie Rahilly, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment president of national ad platforms.
Dorsey will oversee the continued integration of Metro Networks with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's TotalTraffic Networks, and will manage and further develop innovative programs including broadcast traffic reporting, online traffic mapping, custom routes and personalized mobile navigation. His responsibilities will also include building integrated connections with consumers on the go over the air, online and via mobile.
Dorsey joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in September 2011 and previously served as senior vice president of national advertising platforms. Prior to joining Clear Channel, he held the role of senior vice president of business development for the CBS Local Digital Media group, where he was integral in the restructuring of the CBS owned and operated TV stations and news, talk and sports radio station websites into 24 individual market sites. He was also responsible for online and mobile strategic partnerships and sales integration. Dorsey also headed the CBS Television Station Group as the senior vice president of business development and new media, overseeing all national new business, marketing and digital and mobile sales efforts.
