Fred McIntyre to Lead Product for CBS Interactive Music Group

New York - Oct 13, 2009 - David Goodman, president, CBS Interactive Music Group, has named Fred McIntyre as vice president, product of the newly formed business unit of CBS Interactive. In this capacity, he will identify new customer segments, market opportunities and product extensions to drive audience growth. McIntyre will report to Goodman and be based in San Francisco.

The CBS Interactive Music Group was launched in May 2009 and brings together CBS's digital music properties, including CBS Radio's websites, audio and video streams and mobile applications, as well as

McIntyre's resume includes positions with AOL, Spin and Vibe magazines and Internet radio pioneer McIntyre joins the CBS Interactive Music Group from AOL, where, among other responsibilities, he spent several years building and leading AOL's global product businesses for AOL Video, AOL Radio, Shoutcast and Winamp. At AOL, McIntyre also worked in a variety of business development and programming roles including, most recently, leadership of business development on behalf of AOL's Content business.

Prior to AOL, McIntyre served as vice president, strategic partnerships for as well as in a variety of executive leadership positions with Spin and Vibe magazines.
