Columbia, MD - Sep 28, 2010 - iBiquity Digital Corp. has launched Artist Experience, designed to add visual entertainment to the digital audio and data services HD Radio technology already delivers. The feature will appear at retail on the first consumer device beginning October 2010.
Artist Experience will deliver album cover artwork, unique images related to played songs and creative station promotions. It will also enable broadcasters to sell advertising images synced to traditional audio advertisements, according to Bob Struble, CEO of iBiquity.
The technology will be demonstrated on mass produced devices at the iBiquity Digital/HD Radio booth at this week's Radio Show in Washington, DC.
