Radio Show Super Session to Feature Mulally

WASHINGTON—The 2014 Radio Show will include a Super Session interview between Dan Harris, co-anchor of ABC's Nightline and Good Morning America weekend edition, and Alan Mulally, former president and chief executive officer of Ford Motor Company and current Google board member.

The session will be held September 11 at 3 p.m. in Indianapolis as part of the show produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau and National Association of Broadcasters.

Billed as “Executive Future,” the session will feature an in-depth conversation focused on the future of radio, technology and the automotive industry. On the heels of the re-launch of ABC News Radio, there will be a focus on the auto industry, as well as implications for radio technology.

Following the interview, Harris will host a special meditation talk and signing of his book, “10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Really Works - A True Story.”

"As the former chief executive of one of the 'Big Three' automotive companies, Alan Mulallay will have insights and opinions on the future of automotive and radio¹s role on the dash and its future in an internet world," noted Erica Farber, president and CEO, Radio Advertising Bureau.

After joining the Ford Motor Company in 2006, Mulally led the implementation of the One Ford plan. Prior to his tenure at Ford, he served as executive vice president of The Boeing Company and president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
