Wheatstone systems are getting new homes at:
■ CBC (Windsor, ON) purchased a large WheatNet-IP routing system consisting of 17 Blades, including a MADI Blade, plus seven controllers and Navigator software through Marketing Marc Vallee.
■ Corus Radio (Calgary, AB) added an E-1 virtual mixer and a Blade to an existing WheatNet-IP system through Ron Paley Broadcast.
■ Skyview Networks (Scottsdale, AZ) added a Blade to a WheatNet-IP system.
■ Washington State University (Pullman, WA) purchased three eight-channel PC audio drivers through BSW for an existing WheatNet-IP system.
■ Broadcast World Philippines (Manila) purchased a WheatNet-IP system with E-1 control surfaces for a project in the Philippines.


The WKSU Akron News Bureau's newly completed Main Street Studio, one of the WKSU news bureaus located in Cleveland, Canton and Akron, OH, which accompanies the station's main news operations housed at the WKSU Broadcast Center on the main campus of Kent State University, has selected Audio-Technica as the mic of choice in the new facility. Five Audio-Technica AT4050/LE limited edition 50th anniversary multi-pattern condenser microphones were chosen for the studio's announcer position and four guest positions. Five ATH-M50s/LE limited edition professional studio monitor headphones complement the microphone selection.


All Classical Portland, an independent, non-profit radio station with an FM presence in several Oregon markets, is streaming with eight streams using the StreamGuys cloud-based streaming architecture. The station has added the AdsWizz Digital Advertising Monetization Platform for audio pre-roll injections. StreamGuys offers the AdsWizz platform as an integrated service for broadcasters and audio publishers seeking to generate revenue and monetize streams through targeted content delivery.
