Old Lyme, CT - Dec 22, 2009 - Sennheiser is reorganizing its sales and product marketing organization across its three primary business segments: retail, professional audio and systems integration. As part of the reorganization, Greg Beebe, formerly Sennheiser's director of global relations, has been named vice president of product marketing.
The three distinct product groups have their own sales organization.
Retail Group: Focuses on consumer electronics, music retail, audiology and telecommunication.
Professional Audio Group: Focuses on professional live sound, broadcast, theatre and studio business.
Systems Integration Group: Focuses on serving integrators and fixed sound applications in education, government, houses of worship and corporate environments.
Bill Whearty, vice president sales, retail business will manage sales efforts for Sennheiser's retail business, supported by regionally managed teams led by Thom Salisbury, western regional sales manager retail, and Ed Maloney, eastern regional sales manager retail. Meanwhile, two national sales positions will handle Sennheiser's wholesale and key account business.
Sales efforts for the professional audio and systems integration groups will be managed by Jeff Alexander, vice president sales, pro audio and systems integration. He will be supported by Eric Mayer, national sales manager, professional sound and David McNutt, national sales manager, systems integration. Mayer and McNutt will lead regional sales teams across the U.S.
Greg Beebe will oversee product marketing for retail, professional audio and systems integration groups. Beebe joined Sennheiser in 1992 and since then has held executive roles in product marketing, sales and relationship management both globally and in the U.S. Beebe will also oversee a new team focused on market development and education. This team will facilitate education through Sennheiser's Sound Academy program. Sennheiser Sound Academy launched in 2007.
