Hosa Technology Introduces Hopscotch Patch Cables
Features pigtail patch point to split signals
February 9, 2017
BUENA PARK, Calif.—Hosa Technology has officially announced the availability of its new CMM-500Y series Hopscotch Patch Cables. Designed to work with modular synthesizers, the CMM-500Y offers a pigtail patch point for users to split a signal at its output.
The Hopscotch Patch Cables include a short pigtail with a female 3.5mm TS jack at one end to take a signal that has already been patched elsewhere and send it along a new path. Features for the cables include Oxygen-Free Copper conductors, flexible spiral shielding, nickel-plated plugs and slim plugs for use in any modular synthesizer rig without interfering with other cables or controls.
Hosa offers a color-coded system to determine the length of the Hopscotch Patch Cables. The CMM-545Y consists of five yellow, 1.5-foot cables. The CMM-500Y-Mix includes one of each of the following cables: red 6-inch, orange 1-foot, yellow 1.5-foot, green 2-foot and blue 3-foot.
Both options of the Hopscotch Patch Cables are available for $34.95.
