WhisperRoom Builds ADA Compliant Booths

Features raised floor and 5 feet of interior space September 29, 2016

MORRISTOWN, Tenn.—WhisperRoom is making its isolation booths available to everyone by creating a new booth that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

To make these new enclosures usable for those with disabilities, WhisperRoom has designed the booth to include 5-feet of interior space, a 32-inch wide door with a “no threshold” design, raised floor, and a 1:12 ramp ratio. In addition, the door handle can be operated with a closed fist.

WhisperRoom enclosures, including this new ADA-compliant model, are designed to be used for recording and TV studios, or audiology centers.
