Lawo Bringing Ruby ‘Visual Radio Console’ to NAB Show

Mixing console that offers four to 60 fader configurations April 21, 2017

RASTATT, Germany—Lawo is going visual with its new ruby mixing console for radio set to debut at the 2017 NAB Show. This new console allows operators to mix and route audio using a multi-touch onscreen environment.

The ruby, dubbed the “visual radio console” by Lawo, blends physical faders and switches with multi-touch controls, which can exist alongside other studio applications. The console also features full dual-network redundancy; AES67 and high-density MADI interfaces; and eight expansion slots for the addition of mic, line, AES and studio I/O.

Lawo is offering the ruby in configurations from four to 60 faders, with a variety of desktop or flush-mount frame styles.

The ruby mixing console will be on display at Lawo’s booth, N1424, during the 2017 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
