Sony recently announced two new models in its Xplod car stereo line featuring HD Radio compatibility: the CDX-GT520 and the CDX-GT320. The CDX-GT520 is Sony's new CD receiver model that provides the most options for connectivity in the car. In addition to being HD Radio ready, the well-designed head unit supports MP3 and non-DRM WMA and AAC codecs. Plus, it features front, rear and subwoofer preamp outputs; has a flip-down detachable faceplate; and a 13-segment, LCD with blue LED display; and blue key illumination. It is also Ipod and satellite radio ready.

The CDX-GT320 unit provides versatility, with HD Radio, Ipod and satellite radio compatibility. It offers MP3 and non-DRM WMA playback support and two pre-outs. Both the GT-520 and the GT-320 require Sony's XT-100HD HD Radio tuner to receive HD Radio broadcasts.
