FOSTER CITY, Calif. — Nearly a year to the day following its demise, Live365.com is ready to make a comeback, the streamer says.
Features mentioned on their resurrected website are numerous: “Create your own online radio station with music licensing, 24/7 cloud automation, brandable players, station discovery, and the ability to earn revenue. We love talented individuals and organizations with something to share, something to say...”
And further: “Get up and running with everything you need to create your own legal online radio station. Live365 is the ultimate solution for Internet Radio with no technical knowledge required. Simply upload your tracks and start streaming.”
The service will also cover U.S.-based webcast royalty payments, including SoundExchange, ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, reports digitalmusic.com. Live365 will also offer ad insertion and revenue sharing, including “easy ad insertion triggers.”
Live365 will offer three plans, starting at $59/month and up to “from $199/month.” The basic $199 per month plan includes 7000 Total Listening Hours. The amount of storage space available will range from 25GB to 100GB. All plans include 192 kbps max bitrate, unlimited listeners (with TLH limits) and unlimited bandwidth, according to the same article.
